The incident took place around 1 p.m. on North Main Street, near the intersection of Great Western Road. According to authorities, the pickup truck towing the boat had pulled over due to a damaged axle, and passengers were exiting the vehicle to address the issue when tragedy struck. The SUV collided with the trailer, pinning one person between the boat and the truck.
