Andrew Bober Obituary: Andrew R. Bober, Milton, MA, age 42, peacefully passed away on September 25, 2024. Born on June 3, 1982, in Quincy, MA, Andrew moved to Weymouth in 1986, where he would later graduate from Weymouth High School in 2000. He continued his education at Quinnipiac University, graduating in 2004.
Andrew Bober was a dedicated Stat ICU Nurse and a male model at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where he worked from 2006 until his passing. He was renowned for his caring and calming presence in the ICU. In 2017, Andrew was honored with the Essence of Nursing Award, the hospital’s highest accolade, recognizing his exemplary service and unwavering dedication to his patients.

Andrew Bober: A Life Remembered
An accomplished runner in high school and college, Andrew maintained his passion for the sport throughout his life. Remarkably, he completed a 20-minute 5K on the very day he began treatment for his illness. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Andrew was cherished for his quick wit and kindness. His love for music and Boston sports made him a vibrant presence in the lives of his family and friends.
As a devoted son and loving father, Andrew was always supportive and engaged with his children. He treasured moments spent coaching soccer, building sandcastles in Truro, and singing car songs with his kids.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Danielle R. (Bennett) Bober; his children, the kind-hearted Bennett Cash Bober and hardworking Charlotte Drew Bober; and his parents, Gerard R. and Marcia L. (Maver) Bober of Weymouth. He is also survived by his older brother, Michael Bober, his wife Isabel, and their children in New Hampshire, and his younger brother, Alexander Bober, and his wife Julia of Brooklyn, New York.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 4, at the Wollaston Golf Club. The reception will begin at 4 P.M., followed by a service at 5:30 P.M. Family and friends are encouraged to bring a thoughtfully written memory or a joke that Andrew would have loved to share, which will be placed in a memory box decorated by Charlotte and Bennett. Attendees are also invited to bring printed photos for display at the celebration.
