A senior from Atascadero, California, he was pursuing a degree in business management at BYUH, where his passion for learning and his adventurous spirit were evident to all who knew him. His love for Hawaii’s natural beauty fueled his explorations, and his warm personality made everyone feel welcomed and valued. Garrett’s peers and community admired his infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for others.

He completed a mission for the church in the Mexico Tuxtla Gutiérrez Mission, spending the first half in the Alaska Anchorage Mission due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Garrett served as a temple ordinance worker at the Laie Hawaii Temple, where he found joy in service and spiritual growth.
